National Student Exchange

National Student Exchange (NSE) provides an opportunity for students to attend a member college or university in another state for up to two semesters while earning credit toward their home school’s degree program.  Illinois State University is one of only two universities in the State of Illinois that participate in the NSE program. Such exchanges offer students the opportunity for cross-cultural interaction and exposure to geographic, economic and political diversity, as well as personal growth and the honing of adaptation skills.
