Facilities

The campus map shows that Illinois State University's campus covers over 850 acres and provides a study of varying architecture with 60 major buildings, most of which are less than 40 years old and accessible to individuals with disabilities.

All of Illinois State University's classrooms are centrally located, conveniently surrounded by Milner Library, residence halls, athletic arenas and facilities set aside for recreational and social use.

For destinations that may be too far to walk, Illinois State University, beginning in Fall 2004, offers a free campus shuttle service. Additionally, students benefit from universal (free) access to the Bloomington-Normal bus service. Extended hours of service and access for students who live in areas not serviced by established city bus routes are provided by the Nite Ride system.
