Performance (Results) Report

In 1999, the Illinois Board of Higher Education published the Illinois Commitment: Partnerships, Opportunities, and Excellence that establishes six goals for all of Illinois higher education: sustaining strong economic growth, improving teaching and learning, maintaining affordability, increasing diversity, engaging in assessment, and operating productively and cost-efficiently. In 2004, the name of the report changed from the Results Report to the Performance Report. Produced annually in July, Illinois State University’s Performance (Results) Report highlights progress towards the six goals of the Illinois Commitment within the context of its strategic plan, Educating Illinois, The Master Plan, and Redefining "normal": the Campaign for Illinois State University.

University Performance Indicators

In December 2001, the Illinois Board of Higher Education approved a proposed methodology and process regarding the development and implementation of performance indicators for the six policy areas of the State's strategic plan for higher education, The Illinois Commitment. Illinois State University's preliminary indicators for FY 2002 are included as part of the Performance (Results) Report. This includes the performance measure, selection rationale, data source(s), performance goals, and peer comparisons. These performance indicators were refined in Fiscal Year 2003 and will continue to be annually updated by the campus community, reviewed by shared governance groups, and approved by the President's Cabinet.
